Isaac started skiing at age two and snowboarding at age 4. In 2012, his first year of snowboard competition, he earned an invitation to the USASA national competition on the Catskill Mountain Series 2012 national team for Slalom and Giant Slalom in the Breaker Boys division. Over the 2011-2012 season, riding only weekends, holidays and at Nationals, he made over 600 runs, mostly at Windham Mountain.
Here is some video from the day Isaac got named to the 2012 Catskill Mountain Series national team (Isaac in yellow with bib 45):
Report from Isaac's competition at USASA Nationals 2012.
Isaac is a team rider for Shralpers Union.

Matt has been teaching skiing and snowboarding since 1986. In 2011, his well worn ski boots were destroyed in the floods (Google "floods in the Catskills"), and he began focusing on snowboard instruction. The people are great and it is never boring.
Long ago, before the internet as we know it existed, Matt earned his PSIA/AASI level II Adaptive Alpine, level I Alpine and level I snowboard certifications. In 2012 he obtained USASA level 100 coach credentials.
Matt has two sayings regarding snowsports:
"If you are not having fun. you are doing it wrong."
"You are sliding on a wax covered board down an ice covered mountain, it should NOT be difficult!"
